Friends of Court Moor School
So as to be as inclusive as possible, in 2015 the PTA became Friends of Court Moor School to allow anyone over the age of 18 to join, including ex-pupils, grandparents or anyone wishing to support the school.
Our aim is to support the school and its students through fundraising and developing relationships between staff, parents and the local community. These relationships are important and will make Court Moor the school where our children will thrive and achieve their potential.
Friends of Court Moor organise several events during the year: the ever popular Christmas market and the Quiz night to name a couple, but we are always open to new ideas. We are also trying to find different ways to raise money, one of them is the Easyfundraising website (https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/), a portal through which to do your internet shopping and the retailers donate a percentage back to the school, the other is JustGiving (https://www.justgiving.co.uk/) where anyone can fundraise or donate by simply selecting the Friends of Court Moor School Charity.
Participation in any of the events or activities is entirely voluntary and all support is hugely welcome and greatly appreciated.
Our focus this year is to raise money for an outdoor canopy. This will create a modern outdoor eating area, giving the pupils another space in which to enjoy their lunch break and take some pressure off the main hall and classrooms.
If you are interested in joining the Committee or would just like to help out at our events, please come along to one of our meetings or contact us via email email@example.com and please like us on Facebook.
We look forward to your support.
