Careers Cafe: Surrey Police

At our careers café this morning we had a talk from PC Matt Walton from Surrey Police.

PC Matt covered the good and the bad of policing: a very rewarding job versus what can also be a very difficult job at times combined with antisocial hours. Did you know that a police officer is required to carry their identification at all times, and when they are off duty they are asked to either intervene or act as an expert witness if they see a crime? PC Matt also detailed the many roles within the police, career progression, and the requirements to join.
