micro:bit Donation
Back
We have gratefully received a donation of 20 micro:bit mini computers, worth over £350, from a parent.
The micro:bits will be used in code club, and year 7 and 9 lessons. micro:bits are a powerful palm-sized and fully programmable computer, conceived by the BBC to encourage children to get actively involved in writing software and building new things that will be controlled by it. They are used in lessons to help students program a physical device and bring coding to life. This donation means the students will have access to a device each rather than sharing which makes a huge difference to their experience.
Thanks to our donor, these are very much appreciated!
