Christmas Concert

We had a packed hall yesterday evening for our Christmas concert which was filled with festive cheer.

Superbly compered by Mr Ashford with his inevitable Christmas cracker jokes, we had some wonderful performances from individual students, chamber choir (pictured), wind ensemble, staff choir, year 10 GCSE music class, saxophone ensemble, school choir, the cast of Elf the Musical, and the jazz band. Interspersed between the performances we had Christmas carols. Along with a lovely virtual log fire throughout, there was even magical snow at the end which may have mostly ended up on Mrs Gibbons, and Buddy and Jovie from Elf the Musical.

Thanks to the Fleet Recorder Ensemble for performing two tracks with every possible size of recorder, from tiny to huge! Thanks also to the Friends of Court Moor School for providing refreshments.
