Careers Café: Sports

Marcus Kingwell, the Chief Operating Officer of Skateboard GB, presented at our careers café this morning. Skateboard GB are the governing body for skateboarding in the UK, and along with grassroots skateboarding they are also responsible for selecting, preparing, and managing the UK Olympics team.

Marcus has had a varied career in the sporting world and advised about the various entry points and jobs available. It was a suitably physical talk, with students being asked to sit down and stand up depending on their job preference.
