World Book Day

It was World Book Day yesterday, and we have been celebrating it across the week.

- There have been competitions in the library at break: students can guess the number of pages in a book, complete crosswords and wordsearches, and guess when an author was born. All entries have been put into a prize draw
- Students have completed quizzes in tutor time, with prizes for the best tutor group
- There was an extra focus yesterday during lesson time with related activities
- Years 7-9 have been given a book token
- There has been a renewed focus on students completing their book bingo sheets
