Year 7 Celebration of Achievement

From Monday to Thursday this week we have our celebration of achievement assemblies.

We started this morning with year 7, who first had an amazing singing performance from one of their year group. This was followed by the subject awards, across the core subjects of Maths, English, and Science, then Humanities, Arts, Technology, PE, and MFL (Modern Foreign Languages). During the past few weeks, teaching departments have nominated students for these awards based on progress and effort, and then chosen a winner. The winning students were presented with their certificates at this morning's assembly.

Along with the subject awards there was the Head of Year award, presented by Mrs Lovegrove for year 7, the Headteacher award, presented by Mrs Beattie, for the most nominated student. The tutor group with the most house points was also presented with a collective certificate, well done 7NAH!
