Year 7/8 STEM Roadshow & Year 9 CPR Training and Money Management
Back
We have a particularly busy day at Court Moor today!
Year 7 and 8 have this morning watched the amazing STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) roadshow all about magnets. There was some amazing magical magnet action, including one of the roadshow team being winched off the ground using only magnets. The roadshow is produced on behalf of BAE, the Royal Air Force, and the Royal Navy. Thanks to the roadshow team.
Year 9 have a Get Set day. This is where the students come off their normal curriculum and learn about other topics. This has included a lesson in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and how to use a defibrillator. Thanks to the Fleet & Church Crookham Community First Responders for providing this training.
Year 9 students are also learning about money management. Thanks to FACCTS (Fleet And Crookham Churches Together in Schools) for delivering these lessons.
