BAE Systems Student Challenge

On 9th June Mrs Whiting and Mr Lee took two teams of six Year 10 DT and Engineering students to the BAE Systems Student Challenge which took place at Farnborough International.
 
The teams were asked to design, budget, build and present a prototype for an amphibious vehicle that could traverse several different terrains, including a paddling pool!
 
The students did really well, working collaboratively to create two very different designs. We are proud to announce that Team C came away with the "Best Designed Vehicle" award at the end of the competition.
