School Closure End of P4/Second Break

The following has just been sent to EduLink, is sending by email, and there will be a brief text message:

Having monitored the weather forecast, heavy rain is again forecast for 10am and for 2pm. Our front gates are still inaccessible. We have called the Highways Agency and the police (to direct traffic at least) now several times and are awaiting their replies.

In the interest of safety, we are doing the following:

1. If your child is still at home, please keep them there and do not send them, not even for 10am.
2. The school will close after period 4 in a staggered way; all students will leave via the back gate:
a. Years 7 & 8 will leave straight after period 4, 12.20pm.
b. Years 9-11 will leave after second break at 12.50pm.
3. All children who cannot leave at that time will be looked after at school. Please, email to adminoffice@court-moor.hants.sch.uk if your child cannot be collected and/or cannot walk home.

If you choose to collect from the back gate, please do not drive right up to Forest End road. You will be causing an unmanageable congestion.

I am so very sorry for the flurry of information; it has been and still is a moving picture.

The students who are currently on site have been amazing and a true reflection of the Court Moor ethos and spirit – please pass this on to them from me. I am so very proud of our children (and yours, of course).
