Poetry by Heart Club

Our Poetry by Heart club have spent the past few weeks committing their poems to memory, ready for submitting to the national competition. This is a competition for schools and colleges where students are required to commit a poem to memory, recite it and be recorded on camera, and then it is submitted to the Poetry by Heart website. We have done well with our submissions in previous years.

Our current students recorded their submissions yesterday, both individual and group, and thanks to a loan from the Drama department of props and costumes their performances had that extra sparkle.
